This is something fun to start. I’m starting a whole series of fitting newsletters…..starting with the Apple in January – how to fit that figure and all the problems that arise and most of all how to flatter that figure with some great design slight-of-hand skills. There’s no greater way to dispel the notion that you can’t be fit than to teach you how to fit!!! As a natural by-product of this knowledge is not only can you be fit, but what a good fit is….then you even know how to find it, know it when you see it and incorporate it into your wardrobe on a regular basis.
When I meet with a client, one of the things we do is discuss what she needs, what she’s looking for, what she likes, what she doesn’t like and general like/need questions like that. That gives me an insight into what they want and beyond into their lifestyle.
The next thing I do is take a look at their figure (usually while taking some measurements) and then work on how best to flatter their figure. When I take measurements I also ask for their favorite and least favorite part of their body. This is invaluable information for me cause it tells me what they want to show off and what they want to hide.
But what would this be like if you were my client?
What would you ask?
“What Would Claire Sew For Me?”
This can be as much for inspiration as it can for information.
Let’s let our imagination run with this and see where it goes.
