An Important Notice

As many of you know who take my weekly email, we are having woeful problems on this site. My wonderful IT guy who was so helpful and such a lovely person keeled over the first of September. It was a shock for all of us. What was worse, is that he didn’t really have any family as such. What was even worse than that, he died without giving anyone the codes and passwords to his computer or the sites that he managed for his customers.

Long story short here, there were a lot of other massively confusing things that happened that made this whole process the most difficult it could be, but finally, I have saved the name SewingArtistry.com. The blog is gone after the end of the month, and so is everything else on the site. I do have almost everything backed up but the blog. We will create the site back, but it will look totally different but will function much the same.

This is all about how not to worry. You will notice you can’t download anything. You will notice that you can’t purchase anything. You will wonder what the #$@%^#$^&#%@# is going on. Don’t worry. We are in the process of doing a long-term repair that will make the site better, much easier to negotiate and most of all easier to find what you want and what you need. I hate going to sites and looking all over for what’s supposed to be there and not finding it. So I’m keen to make this really easy to use.

This may last as long as 2 or 3 weeks (but I doubt that long, but just in case something goes haywire). And in the meantime, you can take my weekly email, which will happen, and have links that do work (I’ll make sure of that). If you don’t subscribe, you can do that here. It’s free and keeps you up to date better than anything else. If you don’t like it you can always unsubscribe (there’s a link at the bottom of every email).

How frustrating for you. All will work out. Keep up the positivity. We’ll be patiently waiting for you. Nancy Bauer

You’re right, it has all worked out. I still miss this very kind and honest person. There aren’t that many in this business – the IT business. The fortunate thing is that Aweber has updated its services and the email newsletter I send out once a week, has turned into a real gem. Folks say they can read it on their phone, tablet, computer and it adjusts beautifully. For me, it’s drag-and-drop format which makes it so easy to add all sorts of great graphics and even videos so that it can enhance the message of the newsletter even more. That part I’m really enjoying.

You did great Claire. I was busy and didn’t notice. The comments are posted in November yet I see the date of the email you sent me was 6:00 am today. Oh, I know what happened. I clicked on a link about your technical problems and ???? never mind. You did great.
